Welcome to the world, baby Isabel...

This weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting baby Isabel, who's parents - Jaclyn and Adrian had their maternity shoot just a few weeks ago with me. Just a little over a week old, baby Isabel is such a cutie! She is very alert and a sweetheart to photograph. Welcome to the world, 'Bella', and let your parents get some good sleep soon :) Mommy and daddy, enjoy your sneak peak :)

Jaclyn and Adrian...

This was my first maternity shoot, and I was so excited to shoot such a cute couple. They are first time parents and are totally excited for their little baby girl, Isabel's arrival. We headed to a private beach in La Jolla and got some great shots. We had a couple of interesting moments, including the crazy drunk guy that interrupted our shoot and then 'broke into' (ok the gate was unlocked) the house right above the beach... fun times. Anyways, it was pretty overcast that day so I wasn't able to get a fun silhouette during the sunset shot, but that's ok. Jaclyn is glowing and such a beautiful mommy to be. I know they are going to be great parents... I hope you enjoy your sneak peak :) Oh, Jaclyn came over for a few studio shots this week, so I will post those in a few days :) Enjoy....

Navy girl

This is sweet baby Juliet. Her daddy is in the US Navy and will be deployed again soon. Mommy wanted to get some shots of Miss Juliet in her adorable Navy outfit - she was so cute!

She's gonna hate me when she's older...

...for dressing her up like this! I decided to take a quick break from proofing today to shoot my own kiddo... it had been a while!
